Healthy Chocolate Pancakes

Whole food plant-based delicious chocolate pancakes!

Ingredients

  • 1 mashed banana

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup plant milk

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp coco powder

  • Toppings of choice (goes well with melted dark chocolate and frozen cherries)


Instructions

  1. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and coco powder in a medium bowl and stir to combine.

  2. Add mashed banana and pour the plant milk and whisk until smooth.

  3. Let the batter rest for 5 mins.

  4. Pour batter onto a nonstick pan or griddle under low to medium heat.

  5. Flip the pancake when the top begins to bubble and cook until golden.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
