Meet Muzammil

I am a medical doctor with further training in psychotherapy along with certifications in nutrition, a masters in psychology and a bachelor’s in business. I completed my Family Medicine residency at McMaster University.

I believe more times than not, we should be prescribing our patients with a healthy lifestyle over prescribed medications. And I believe a healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy diet rich in whole plant-foods.

On this website, I share evidence based nutrition and cover what a healthy diet looks like, how to incorporate a healthy diet in your lifestyle and the role of diet in prevention, treatment and in certain cases reversal of chronic lifestyle diseases.

I also believe in living a sustainable and conscious life that involves reducing our carbon footprint on the planet and living with compassion and kindness.

QUICK TIPS

Focus your diet on whole foods and minimally processed foods.

Incorporate foods from these six categories daily: Fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds.
